Member organizations and their prevention efforts

Norwood Schools

Youth at the middle school and high school put together annual Youth Summits to spread a drug-free message in the schools. They are working with the Norwood Police Department on Sticker Shock: putting stickers on alcoholic beverages at local stores to remind everyone not to sell to minors.

Norwood Health Department

SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) is a partnership between the schools and the Norwood Health Department. This screening helps identify youth who may be at risk for developing a dependence on drugs or alcohol, and helps connect them to resources right away.
